Swimming Pool Room

Very creative swimming pool room. This is in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art over in Japan. I thought this marvelous. It also makes me want to go swimming.

"Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich created this fake pool called The Swimming Pool, for The 21st Centurey Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. Leandro put two clear acrylic glasses about a foot apart and filled the space in between with water. The top surface is also filled with about 4 to 5 inches of water so that it looks like a realistic pool."

Streets via Skateboard

Simply cool findings from one of my favorite people on Vimeo, @13thwitness. Ain't nothing going on here but skateboards and life. However it is important to note that these people are professionals. I am always enchanted with the way things are shot and how the videographer even manages to attain some of the angles and vantage points that he does amidst live action. So once again, i love it all, you might as well if you give it a try.

They don't make em like this...seriously

For the guys out there having a little trouble among the ladies, they are working on your solution. There is a new humanoid robot debuting next fall, called EMA, "Eternal, Maiden, Actualization". Im not sure why they named it that. But this is coming from Sega Toys out of Japan, perhaps its the same company that produced the video game system in the 90's.

According to a press release the robot can sing, hand out business cards, and walk "like a lady". However most impressively it has some kissing feature that is activated when the head gets close to the robot, apparently it goes into love mode. Its a battery powered robot and also uses infrared sensors to get around obstacles. I don't know exactly what you would do with this but i just thought you should know, should be available next fall if you need one.
